Setting up the School of Science - Registrar John Topley
In preparation for the first day of teaching at Nathan campus (5th March, 1975) academic and administrative staff worked tirelessly to have teaching areas, offices, and amenities ready. Staff were still literally completing finishing touches on the opening day. In this image, foundation Registrar John Topley can be seen helping with the setting-up of the teaching areas for the soon to open School of Science. Of interest are the now virtually obsolete technologies that can be seen.
