Queensland College of Art becomes part of Griffith University

​With the Federal Government amalgamations in full swing, the next institution to come under the Griffith banner was the Queensland College of Art (QCA) on January 1st, 1992. Recognised as the oldest (continuous operating) art training institution in Australia, QCA completed the final piece of the forced higher education mergers puzzle for the University as part of the controversial Dawkins Revolution.
