Professor Robert Segall was the foundation Deputy Chairman at Griffith University's School of Science. Professor Segall's skills in university administration were recognised when he was appointed Acting Vice Chancellor for a two year period after the departure of foundation Vice Chancellor, Professor John Willett, in 1983.
