This was the orchestral music played at the Processional (official parade) at our first graduation ceremony Griffith University (Nathan campus) in 1975. Processional music has been played throughout history to honour an occasion or person. The music for this landmark day was organised by the Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education Gamelan (type of Indonesian orchestra) Society. The image shows our first Bachelor recipient - Debra Cunninham - receiving her undergraduate award from Chancellor of the time, Sir Theodor Bray.
