Griffith's long awaited 5th campus opened officially on 11 December 1998, increasing the presence of our organisation in Queensland's south-east. Built on an area of green fields (a former farm) south of Brisbane, the Logan campus was established to specifically address the interests and educational needs of the Logan City area. An extensive community consultation (including surveying Years 11 and 12 students in the area) was carried out before finalising courses/studies to be offered in time for the 1998 academic teaching year beginning in February.
