October 1970

The main vehicle access point - The Circuit - is established.

Nathn Campus

The original access point to the heart of Nathan campus was 'The Circuit'. The background image was taken in October of 1972 facing north-east. Today, The Circuit is a busy 'drop-off' zone featuring short-term parking and bus stops for both incoming and outgoing buses. The immediate area in front of the treeline is now the home for our '6-Star' energy rated Sir Samuel Griffith Building that uses photovoltaic technology (a type of solar power conversion) for its power needs.
