Harry Gibbs - Doctor of the University Testamur (1987)

Sir Harry Gibbs was the eight Chief Justice to be appointed to the High Court of Australia. In April of 1987, Griffith University recognised Gibbs' outstanding service to Australia's legal system by conferring the title of Doctor of the University upon him. Our Doctor of the University is an honorary title and this document is an example of the testamur (degree) that the University presents to the recipients of this award.
