Our first graduate destination survey was completed in 1979 and contained 'life after uni' statistics on our first bachelors from 1978 and higher degree students graduating in 1977. The destination survey is generally conducted the first year after graduation and relates to the employment status of the previous years' graduates including the type of work they were doing and whether their studies had prepared them adequately for the work force. Where this document differs is that it interviews our first graduates five years after graduation - rather than the standard 'year after' conventional survey. It was believed that a 'five years later' investigation such as this might provide more valuable and detailed retrospective feedback from respondents.
