The first Griffitti volume for 1977 begins with the Griffith University Union of Students (the publishers) again asking for content contribution from outside the Union's editorial staff. In an effort to offer a variety of ideas and content - the Union even through open the invitation to submit content to the University's staff. This marked a clear move away from the predominant 'by students for students' stance that had been a feature for the first two years of the magazine's existence.
(This is the Griffith Archive's only edition of Griffitti (Volume 3 No. 1) for 1977 and we would welcome hearing from anyone that has other editions for this year that they would like to donate to the Archive or loan to the Archive to have scanned).
